Please ensure to take following special care to your Artwork Specification so that you do not incur any further artwork and pre-press charges. Extra fees may apply if we need to correct.

Please consider

BLEED & SAFE MARGINS

We require minimum 3mm of internal safe margin on all files and 5mm on all booklet jobs. Please ensure to keep any text or important design away from the bleed area. We also require 3mm of external bleed on all files and 5mm on all booklet jobs.

TRIM MARKS

Trim marks must be included with all jobs (trim area is the final size of your print job). We recommend please do not use borders that are designed to create an even margin around the document. A trimming tolerance of +/- 1mm must be allowed for. e.g. If you design a border 2mm from the edge all around a document the end result may be 1mm on one side and 3mm on the opposite side creating an unbalanced look.

SUPPLY ARTWORK

Artwork must be supplied in a PDF format.
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher are not acceptable.

Artwork must be done in Adobe Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop or CorelDraw.

All files supplied are required to be submitted as CMYK. If files are supplied as RGB or Spot Colours, please let us know prior to printing.

Attach and send your artwork/file through the upload option available during the purchase of your product. Or by the Contact Us page option provided.

EPS or JPEG files are accepted. They will all have to be corrected by our designer and may incur an additional charges.

Please consider

FONTS

Please convert all the used fonts or text to outlined, curves or paths where possible. To ensure a pleasing result we recommend not placing critical objects or fonts closer than 5mm from any trim line.

PRINT QUALITY

For the highest quality finish product, we highly recommend supplying files as high resolution so we prefer your artwork at 300 dpi when its at full size artwork.

Please be aware of the Total Ink Cover you intend using in your design.

The heavier the cover the longer it will take to produce your job as this will affect turnaround time, we recommend no more than 300% coverage out of a possible 400%. (i.e. CMYK @ 100% each).

To ensure a nice rich black use the following values Black 100%, Cyan 50%, Magenta 10%, Yellow 10%.

Do not use rich black for text, use 100% black only. Watermarks or images used for similar purposes, should not be set at less than 8% total ink coverage.

Please note: Colour critical requirements for printing items should be discussed with us prior to placing orders into our automated production queue as there are alternative solutions.

ORGANISE PAGES

If your print job is single sided, then you have to supply a one-page pdf only.

If your job has two pages i.e.: a front and a back then you need to send two-page pdf file, the first page will be the front page and the second will be the back page.

If you have a print job with multiple pages then you have to supply one two-page pdf
for each artwork.
